Sky Bet Championship football returned after the October international break with no real surprise at either end of the league standings as 24 goals were netted in 11 matches.
Rotherham United and Ipswich Town fans will have to wait a while longer to see their teams in action as the clash between the two clubs was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
Leeds United supporters, meanwhile, were joyous as the Lilywhites came from two goals down to beat Daniel Farke’s former side, Norwich City, 3-2 away from home.
Other standout results from the weekend include a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham City managerial debut and a 2-1 victory for Stoke City against Sunderland.
Despite a relative lack of goals across the division on October 21, plenty of players impressed and it would be tough to choose just 11 to form a team of the week.
