Stunning Championship attendance table compares turnouts for West Brom, Norwich City, Ipswich Town & rivals

West Brom's average home attendance compared to the rest of the Sky Bet Championship.

There's no doubting the drop in quality from the Premier League to the Sky Bet Championship but there's hardly a reduction when it comes to the level of support from fans.

All 24 teams have played either 36, 37 or 38 games throughout the 2023/24 season so far and a total of over 10 million spectators have shown their faces, averaging out at 22,794 per fixture.

For comparison, and this is taking into account the 60,000+ capacities of Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, the mean figure in the Premier League is 38,355 per game.

The enthusiasm, mixed in with the commitment and dedication of fans supporting clubs in the English second tier simply cannot be overlooked, particularly so given the standard of play is worse than in the top flight.

But which sides see the best turnouts week in and week out? Here's how all 24 teams compare for their average home attendance.
