West Brom's average away Championship attendance compared to QPR, Rotherham United, Huddersfield Town and Coventry City

Here's how a Championship away attendance table stands after 26 games so far.

West Brom claimed an emphatic 4-1 win over Aldershot Town at The Hawthorn's in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Nathan Chalobah, Jovan Malcolm and Daryl Dike all scored in the first-half to give the Baggies a commanding lead and then academy graduate Tom Fellows made it four before Oliver Bray grabbed a consolation for the non-league side. Carlos Corberan's side now await their next opponents and have gone further in the competition than the likes of Cardiff City, Arsenal and Middlesbrough who were knocked out.

It was meant to be a winter break for several Premier League teams, including West Midlands rivals Wolves but after their 1-1 draw with Brentford, they'll have to play their rearranged tie instead. A Midlands Derby would be interesting, and tonight's draw could give us that.

Attention after Monday night's draw however will turn to West Brom's next Championship match and that's a home match against Blackburn Rovers. The Lancashire outfit won convincingly against Cambridge United at the weekend, and have been given an allocation of 2,009 tickets.

Fans of various clubs across the country have a fascination with away followings and who boasts the best support. West Brom have just one away game this month and that's against Norwich City in which they've been given 2,000 tickets at Carrow Road. If that sells out then that would be some good going given how expensive of a month January can be.

For those keen to know what kind of support West Brom have on the road, we can reveal that to you. Thankfully those at The 72 have collated the statistics for away followings over the course of the season, and we've added to their findings following the double-header of fixtures on December 29 and New Year's Day. Here's how West Brom compare to the likes of QPR, Rotherham United, Coventry City, Huddersfield Town among others.
