Bristol City boss Liam Manning claims that top scorer Tommy Conway has got a ‘huge decision’ to make regarding his future at Ashton Gate. The 21-year-old forward has been the Robins’ top scorer for both of the last two seasons, but is yet to accept a new contract offer with the club.
Conway, who came through the club’s academy will be in the final year of his contract next season and Bristol City will be determined to avoid a scenario where one of their prized assets leaves on a free transfer.

He added: “We’ve made him a terrific offer as a club, I think it’s the best place for him. I totally understand if someone's journey is going miles quicker than the team then I understand the move. At the minute he’s at the level where he’s still being challenged. I think he’s put in some good performances, I still think he’s got a huge amount to do and improve and I’m sure he’d agree with (me).”
However, Steve Evans, who recently took on the Rotherham United job for a second time, claims that Conway would be an ideal signing for Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.
Evans, who is a Celtic fan himself, told the Daily Record: “The last player I recommended Celtic should sign, when I got the call from the manager was the boy who went from MK Dons (Matt O’Riley) who’s now worth multi-millions.

Meanwhile, Leicester City are preparing for life back in the Premier League and are hoping to boost their attacking options with a move for Championship Golden Boot winner Sammie Szmodics, according to GiveMeSport.
The Republic of Ireland international scored an incredible 27 goals from midfielder for a Blackburn Rovers side which narrowly avoided relegation to League One, allowing him to finish a comfortable six strikes clear of Southampton's Adam Armstrong in the race for the award.
Leicester were able to see how dangerous Szmodics is capable of being as he grabbed a brace during Blackburn's 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium on the final day of the season.
