Wrexham vs Birmingham City team news: Parkinson and Davies name lineups for 'Hollywood Derby'

Phil Parkinson and Chris Davies have named their starting lineups and substitutes for this evening's League One clash at The Racecourse.

Kick-off is fast approaching for one of the most hotly-anticipated fixtures of the English third tier season. It’s the return leg of what’s been dubbed the ‘Hollywood Derby’ given Wrexham are owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, while NFL legend Tom Brady has a minority stake in Blues.

Birmingham ran out 3-1 victors in the reverse clash as Davies’ men came from behind to beat the Red Dragons comfortably at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park. Tomoki Iwata, who scored a cracker from outside the area that night, is unavailable this evening as he’s sidelined through injury.

Another of Blues’ heroes from the previous meeting starts, however, with brace scorer Jay Stansfield out on the left flank for Blues. Alfie May, Lyndon Dykes and Scott Wright complete an attacking front four, while Taylor Gardner-Hickman pairs Marc Leonard in midfield.

Ryan Allsop makes his 18th League One start of the season between the sticks and the goalkeeper has a back four of Ethan Laird, Christoph Klarer, Ben Davies and Alex Cochrane in front of him. Wrexham, meanwhile, have made three changes with Ollie Palmer, Dan Scarr and George Dobson returning to the XI.
