Where Birmingham, West Brom, Sunderland and others are predicted to finish in next season’s Championship

Here’s some way too early Championship predictions...

2021/22 didn’t quite go the way Birmingham or West Brom fans had hoped.

The Blues had gone into the year with the slightest bit of optimism in what felt like forever and ultimately finished languishing just above the drop - as has become all too common.

Albion on the other hand were predicted to fight for promotion with the top two the target but top six certainly acceptable. That wasn’t to be either as a positive start was drastically derailed and a 10th place finish was the outcome after a managerial change at the halfway point for good measure.

Both will be keen to put last year on the back-burner and look to boast much better new campaigns. The likelihood of that being the case at the Hawthorns is pretty high, you’d think, whereas St Andrew’s - sadly - not so much.

With Nottingham Forest’s promotion to the Premier League, all 24 teams competing in next season’s Championship have been confirmed and the betting market is complete.

It may be very early doors in the summer, but this is how they’ve predicted the Championship table to look come May 2023.
