Intriguing Championship table showing ONLY 2022 results: Where Birmingham, West Brom, Forest all sit

The table throws up some surprising results...

Easter Monday’s 6-1 defeat to Blackpool compounded what has been yet another miserable season following Birmingham City.

A campaign that promised so much in terms of finally expecting some sort of improvement on the field has in turn, ended up just like the rest.

Anger towards ownership from supporters off the field ramped up in 2022 whilst performances on it seemed to take the most wicked of downward trajectories.

Speaking after the defeat to Coventry City on Good Friday, manager Lee Bowyer was adamant that there has been improvement in the team as a whole but the simple fact of the matter is - had it not been for point deductions to rivals, this Birmingham City side would be heading for League One.

The Championship table since the turn of the year only proves that, too.

You can shout until you’re red in the face in regards to your beliefs but the truth is, only two sides have picked up less points than the Blues in 2022.

Here’s the Championship table in full, based only on results in this calendar year.
