Birmingham City, just like all clubs in the English Football League, have had their fair share of under-performers but some stand out far more than others.
From players who couldn’t hit a barn door to serial mistake makers and expensive transfer flops, some are very recent while plenty are from years gone by.
We thought it would be a bit of fun to ask Bluenoses on Facebook who they think are contenders to take the crown for the worst Blues player of them all.
The responses were vast and even more would have been included if pictures of the players mentioned were available.
Flick through the pages to see 27 of the worst, all of which have been directly selected by Birmingham fans.

5. Geoff Horsfield
Quite a rogue suggestion this but one fan said, “for me he was useless”. Plenty of Blues fans let out their dismay at that call, but plenty others agreed. | Getty Images

6. Kevin Francis
Playing for Blues in the mid-1990s, Francis was described by one Bluenose as “like Bambi on ice with the ball at his feet”. | Getty Images

7. Cheikh N’doye
Another to get multiple nominations for the unwanted award is N’doye, who played 38 times and didn’t score a single goal from midfield. “N’doye, no word about it,” one fan said. | Getty Images

8. Mike Newell
Came in as a striker in 1996 with plenty of experience and goalscoring ability but only managed to net once in 15 games for Birmingham. “Great fanfare at signing but nothing from him,” one Bluenose wrote. | Getty Images
