Premier League free agent tipped for Blues move
There are currently 27 players who are still out of contract after being released by Premier League clubs during the summer transfer window. One of the names on the list is Lyle Taylor, who left Nottingham Forest following the expiration of his contract.
Taylor has played for a number of clubs during his career and spent a brief loan period with Birmingham City in 2022. He contributed five goals and an assist in 14 appearances. Carlton Palmer believes a return to the Blues would be a beneficial move for both Taylor and the club.

Taylor has had something of an inconsistent career in terms of form in front of goal, but his 2012/13 season with Falkirk was when he exploded into his full potential with 29 goals and eight assists in 42 appearances.
Leicester preparing to tie down midfielder
Leicester City are putting plans in place to tie down Hamza Choudhury before his contract expires at the end of the season. According to TEAMtalk, the Foxes are preparing to enter talks over a contract renewal with the midfielder as ‘a number of clubs’ have been monitoring his situation.

So far this season, the 25-year-old has played just nine minutes in the Championship but he started both EFL Cup fixtures. With the Foxes eager to keep him at the club, it could mark the start of more action under Enzo Maresca.
