New predicted Championship table forecasts relegation outcomes after Birmingham City draw and Sheffield Wednesday win

Here’s how the final 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship table is predicted to look.

The Sky Bet Championship relegation fight is hotting up with just two games to go until the finale of the 2023/24 season.

Birmingham City were out of the bottom three after their 3-0 victory over Coventry last week but Gary Rowett’s men have plunged back into the drop zone following the most recent results.

Sheffield Wednesday inflicted the blow to Blues as the South Yorkshire outfit beat Blackburn Rovers 3-1 away from home. Danny Rohl’s side, in 21st, are now one point above Birmingham.

Huddersfield Town have a slight chance of safety as they play Blues in an almighty six-pointer at John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday. Wednesday will have a keen eye on that fixture but their focus will be on getting the job done themselves, on home soil against West Bromwich Albion.

It’s worth mentioning Plymouth Argyle, Blackburn Rovers, Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City as all four clubs could still get dragged into the relegation zone. The two, three and four-point advantages are handy but they are by no means safe.

Which teams, then, are the likeliest to go down as it stands? And how is the rest of the Championship table expected to finish with fights ongoing for the title and play-offs?
