Marosi kept 10 clean sheets in 43 league games this season and was also Shrewsbury's first choice in the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
"Salopians, my time at Shrewsbury Town has come to an end," announced Marosi on his X account.
"We have shared some great times together, especially in my second year at the club."
He added: "Last season was very up and down and really tough at times, but you guys always stuck by us no matter what and the whole team appreciated it.

"I want to thank the managers and the staffs not just the football side, but behind the scenes as well.
"And lastly I want to thank the fans for all the love and support you have shown me over the three years, you guys are amazing.”
Goalkeeper is an area that Birmingham will need to strengthen in this summer as they await the decision of John Ruddy. He has been offered a new deal but his understudy Neil Etheridge was released and so at the moment there is no senior goalkeeper at the club if Ruddy decides to leave.
