Birmingham City to make transfer profit as deadline day decision made on out-of-contract star
First reported by Sky Sports Germany journalist Patrick Berger in a post on Twitter, VfL Bochum are making a move for Miyoshi. The Bundesliga outfit are in talks with Blues, and the fee is said to be 'well under' €1m. Miyoshi only has one-year remaining on his current deal and it appears Birmingham are deciding to cash in now, rather than losing him for free next summer.

The 27-year-old has been in all of Chris Davies' squads for the first five games of the season but has only started the once. He played just over an hour against Reading on the opening day but then has been a substitute against Wycombe Wanders and Leyton Orient, whilst he didn't play against Charlton Athletic, and made a 28-minute cameo against Fulham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Should Miyoshi's move go through, he would be departing St Andrew's having made 52 appearances with a return of seven goals and six assists. Birmingham in fact are making a profit on Miyoshi as he joined on a free transfer from Royal Antwerp last summer, signing a two-year deal.

Miyoshi could either make his debut against Monchengladbach tomorrow should the move go through quickly or against SC Freiburg on September 14 when the international break is over.
Miyoshi is set to become the second attacking player in as many days to depart after Siriki Dembele was sold to Oxford United. The signing of Scott Wright was confirmed earlier on Friday, and so Birmingham are now well equipped in the forward areas.
