Former Birmingham City defender Kristian Pedersen has signed for German Bundesliga side FC Köln on a two-year deal.
The Danish full-back, whose contract at St Andrew’s expires on June 30, turned down multiple offers to stay in Birmingham and has instead landed a move to Germany’s top flight.

FC Köln finished seventh in Bundesliga last year and in doing so qualified for the Europa Conference League play-offs.
The Dane often split opinion among Blues fans but you can’t deny that he’s landed himself a decent gig there.
Speaking to the German side’s official website, Pedersen said: “I’m really happy to be here.”

I think it’s an advantage that I had already spent two years at Union Berlin, I know the culture and how football is played in Germany.
“I’m an aggresive player and like to think going forward. I try to be brave.
“I know the Dom and that this city loves football. I’m looking forward to a super season with you.
“We need you and I’ll be sure to give everything.”
