Every player linked with Birmingham City transfer amid John Eustace and takeover news

The Blues are yet to make a signing yet as they prepare for the new season.

Birmingham City have cut ties with Lee Bowyer and brought in John Eustace as his replacement.

The Blues are gearing up for another season in the Championship and have a big few weeks ahead.

Eustace, 42, has penned a three-year deal with the Midlands club and will be eager to show what he can do.

The former Stoke City and Middlesbrough midfielder hung up his boots in 2015 and delved straight into the management game with non-league side Kidderminster Harriers.

He has since held coaching roles at QPR and with the Republic of Ireland national team and will now be looking forward to getting back into the dugout as a number one.

Birmingham are yet to make a signing this summer but are expected to be busy now under their new boss.

They came 20th in the second tier in the past campaign and will be hoping for much better next term.

The club has waved goodbye to the likes of Ivan Sanchez, Fran Villalba, Connal Trueman, Kristian Pedersen and Jeremie Bela since the end of last season so have some gaps to fill in their squad.

Here are all the players to have been linked with the Midlands outfit recently….
