Birmingham City will be at home for their final game of the 2023/24 Championship season.
Blues find themselves in an unwanted position and that's battling to avoid the drop again. They are in the relegation zone as they gear up for their penultimate fixture of the campaign, a must-win clash against Huddersfield Town.
If they can get a positive result from that and hope that results go in their favour this weekend, then there will be a little less pressure when they play Norwich City next week. The Canaries are in the mix for the play-offs but their place in the top six isn't secured yet. Earlier this week, Norwich were given an additional number of tickets ahead of what is a huge game. Improvements have been made to try and get the St Andrew's capacity increased, and for sure Birmingham City fans will be there whatever predicament they find themselves in.
This weekend does offer a little more insight as to who Birmingham will be playing one way or another however. The League One and League Two season concludes on Saturday before the play-offs begin next Saturday (May 4).
Portsmouth have already wrapped up the league title whilst Derby County and Bolton Wanderers battle for the second automatic spot. Port Vale, Fleetwood Town and Carlisle United have all been relegated to League Two whilst Cheltenham Town, Burton Albion and Cambridge United bid to avoid the drop.
Stockport County won the League Two title and will be playing in the third tier next season, and they're joined by Wrexham and Mansfield Town who filled the other automatic promotion spots.
