Here are the dirtiest teams in the EFL Championship after the first 11 matches of the 2023/24 season.

Sky Bet Championship fixtures are becoming tougher and tougher to predict every matchday, with so much desire, intensity and physicality displayed by players.

The tension often rises in hotly contested fixtures, causing match officials to intervene. Whether it be for something as light as dissent or as dangerous as a crunching challenge, plenty of cards are brandished as a result.

As we reflect on the start of the season, we take a look at the sides in the Championship for their discipline – or rather their lack of it.

Based on five points for a straight red card, three for a second yellow and one for each individual yellow, here’s how the discipline table looks after 11 matches.
