Wayne Rooney has quite the selection headache ahead of Birmingham City's midweek test at Cardiff City, with up to eight players unavailable for the trip to South Wales.
The Bluebirds, on the other hand, have just two members of their squad out as manager Erol Bulut has reported no fresh injuries over recent weeks.
Blues wish they could be saying the same but it has been a torrid time over at Elite Performance and Innovation Centre ahead of a busy run of Sky Bet Championship fixtures.
Defensive trio Ethan Laird, Cody Drameh and Dion Sanderson all missed the 2-0 defeat at Coventry City with new issues. One of these is thought to be fairly serious.
Here's all the latest for both teams.
1. Aaron Ramsey (Cardiff) - out
Ramsey damaged a knee tendon in mid-September and hasn’t played since. He’s nearing fitness now, though, as he’s described to be progressing well for a January return.
2. Callum O’Dowda (Cardiff) - out
O’Dowda had surgery on a tendon injury at the end of August and hasn’t featured since. He too is training well, however, and could be back just after Christmas.
3. Dion Sanderson (Birmingham) - doubt
Sanderson missed Blues’ game at Coventry due to what Rooney described as a bad foot pain in the night. The skipper is being assessed.
4. Cody Drameh (Birmingham) - doubt
Drameh rolled his ankle in a training session and missed the trip to Coventry. It’s not thought to be serious and he could be back for Cardiff.
