Borussia Dortmund slap record-breaking price-tag on former Birmingham City star amid Liverpool & Chelsea links

Just two years after leaving the Blues, Bellingham could become the most expensive British player in history.

Borussia Dortmund have slapped a record-breaking €120million price-tag on England and former Birmingham City starboy Jude Bellingham in a bid to warn off suitors.

That’s according to German outlet SportBild who claim Dortmund are willing to do everything to keep the teenager as they hope to make him the new face of their famous brand.

Bellingham has been linked with Liverpool

If a club were to cough up the apparent €120million asking price, it would make Bellingham, who has just this month turned 19-years-old, the most expensive British player in history.

It would eclipse the £100million spent on former Aston Villa star Jack Grealish by Manchester City just last season and in turn, depending on when a sale was completed, also make him the most expensive teenager in footballing history.

Liverpool and Real Madrid are favourites to land Bellingham’s signature though both would likely wait until next season to make a move whilst recent reports also suggest that Chelsea could also come into the fray.

The midfielder made 43 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund last year, scoring six goals and providing 14 assists.
