The Championship returns this evening as Burnley take on Huddersfield Town away.

Birmingham City’s first match of the season is tomorrow against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road and they are in for a tough clash against a Hatters side who made the play-offs last term.

It has been a hectic summer for the Blues and they have a new manager in the dugout in John Eustace after Lee Bowyer’s exit.

The Midlands outfit have been joined in the second tier by relegated trio Watford, Burnley and Norwich City, and promoted sides Sunderland, Rotherham United and Wigan Athletic.

Birmingham finished 20th in the last campaign and will be hoping for a much better showing this time around.
