Birmingham City return home this weekend as they welcome Bristol City to St Andrew’s.

The Blues will be keen to bounce back following a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in midweek, a result which leaves them 19th in the table heading into this weekend.

Opponents Bristol City are on a poor run of form themselves, having lost three of their last four matches.

When do Birmingham City play Bristol City?

The club from the South West visit St Andrews on Saturday October 8 and the match kicks off at 3pm.

Is the match on TV?

Birmingham City v Bristol City has been selected for a 3pm kick-off time on Saturday and so it won’t be shown live on UK television.

This is to comply with the ‘blackout’ regulation on televised coverage between 2:45pm and 5:15pm on a Saturday.

Under the rules, broadcasting rights are restricted for clubs in the UK, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.

Not all is lost, though, as highlights will be available for Sky Sports subscribers on the Sky Sports app around 15-30 minutes after the final whistle.
