Birmingham City transfer round-up: The full list of ins and outs from a busy January at St Andrew’s

It’s been a month of ins and outs for Lee Bowyer and Birmingham City

And breathe, Blues fans.

That’s another transfer window done and dusted and it’s been one of the busiest yet. Not busy for the plain and simple fact that there have been numerous ins and outs but busy in the sense of trying to get this club back on the right track.

“A few more, definitely a few more,” is the answer manager Lee Bowyer gave just last week when asked how many transfer windows it would take for him to get this squad looking the way he wanted it.

It’s a team that have been ravaged in recent times with terrible big money purchases and ridiculous overpaid salaries and it’s Bowyer that has the task of rebuilding it from the ground up.

He’s demanded change at club since the minute he walked through the door and with how active the Blues have been during both the summer and January in particular - it’s evident he’s a man of his word.

Where he can, he’s moving the deadwood out slowly but steadily and where he can, he’s bringing in a new type of player that wants to play for the team and buys into the plan he has to offer.

Five have entered in total with plenty others heading out the other way. If you’ve struggled to keep track - here’s the full list for you to feast your eyes on.
