Birmingham City predicted starting line-up vs Huddersfield Town with Krystian Bielik still unavailable

Blues’ Championship opener with Luton Town ended in a 0-0 draw last week and they look to go one better when Huddersfield come to town on Friday evening.

Birmingham City head into their first game of the season at St Andrew’s on Friday evening when they take on last year’s play-off final losers, Huddersfield Town.

The Blues opened their Championship account last weekend with a solid point away at another of last season’s top teams, Luton Town and will look to build on that in their own back yard.

John Eustace has reiterated on more than one occasion the fact that this season is going to be a tough one but is adamant that the team he picks will fight for the badge and that will be no different on Friday evening.

The Terriers have lost some top talent from last year including their manager who left on the eve of the season and whilst that turmoil doesn’t quite equate to that that is going on at St Andrew’s - it could prove to be a good time to play the Yorkshire side.

Krystian Bielik remains around two weeks away from full fitness so won’t be involved in Friday’s game but away from that the squad looks healthy with a number of players, including George Friend now back and available for selection.

With that in mind, here’s the eleven BirminghamWorld think Eustace will go with tomorrow evening.
