Siriki Dembele and Fulham loanee call made - Birmingham City predicted XI gallery v West Brom

Here’s how we think Birmingham City will line up against West Brom for their West Midlands’ Derby clash at St Andrew’s on Friday night.

Birmingham City and West Brom go head-to-head in the West Midland's Derby at a sold-out St Andrew's in the EFL Championship.

Blues play their second home game in the four days as they hope to follow up Tuesday's 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town. It was the Siriki Dembele show, as he scored two goals and caused the Terriers defence a handful of problems on the night.

Koji Miyoshi and Jordan James scored on the night, and it was their first win in seven games. James came on as a substitute to score his goal and this week he was named in the Wales squad again for their EURO 2024 qualifiers. Does his goal earn him a place in the starting XI, or will John Eustace stick to what worked well for him from the off?

No new injuries have been reported, neither was there any bookings that would make any of their players unavailable for Friday’s clash. It’s likely that the trusted 4-2-3-1 formation will remain for this clash, and there’s a real possibility that we see the same attacking four as they try and build up an understanding together.

A win on Friday night would confirm Birmingham's place in the top-half going in to the second international break of the season. They'd shoot up as high as fifth if they beat West Brom as the only game played on Friday night, and would be hopeful results would go in their favour to keep them in the top-six.

Flick through the pages to see our 11 starting players and nine subs, which also has a brief explanation as to why they're named. Do you think Eustace will go with this side, or will he freshen things up given the short turn-around between fixtures?
