Birmingham City came away with another big three points on Saturday after a 2-1 win over Barnsley. Things are really starting to get exciting for the Blues now, as they are within touching distance of the top spot in League One.
With 12 wins from a possible 17, City are currently third in the table, one point behind leaders Wycombe. However, Chris Davies’ side boast a crucial game in-hand, which could be a huge deciding point in this season’s promotion and title race. Wycombe were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Reading, while in-form Wrexham have played two games more than the Blues at this point.
Birmingham could enter the new year at the top of the tree if they keep this form up. Their win over Barnsley marks their third in a row in League One, and four across all competitions.
Following their latest win, we’ve rounded up each player’s rating used statistics from WhoScored. Take a look below at how each of the Blues fared during their trip to Oakwell.
