Super substitute Lukas Jutkiewicz's 82nd-minute header against Hull City earned Birmingham City what could prove to be a vital point in the Sky Bet Championship relegation battle. Coming on and scoring within merely 90 seconds to bring the scores level at 1-1, Jutkiewicz made the lengthy trip to East Yorkshire worth it for the Bluenoses at MKM Stadium.

Hull had taken a 25th-minute lead in controversial style as Ozan Tufan converted a flicked-on Abdus Omur corner at the far post. It was a clear handball from the 65-time Turkey international as he glanced the ball into the net with his arm. Neither the referee nor his assistant spotted the infringement, however, and the Tigers' lead was allowed to stand.

Blues didn't exactly threaten Hull an awful lot during the game, with Liam Rosenior's men dominating possession for the most part. Birmingham kept giving the ball away cheaply in midfield and struggled to make things click until Mark Venus brought on some second-half reinforcements. It goes down as a very good point for Blues, even despite the nature of the Tufan goal.
