Met Police has issued CCTV images of 11 football fans they want to identify after their officers were injured during disorder at the Millwall v Birmingham match on March 9

Can you help police identify these 11 football fans who were captured on CCTV amid disorder at the Millwall v Birmingham City game?

Several officers from the Met were injured outside The Den football stadium in Bermondsey in south east London during the trouble on March 9.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of affray by Met officers, with the assistance of West Midlands Police officers on Tuesday, 26 March. He was taken into custody in Birmingham before being released on bail.

Now the force has released 11 images of other football fans they want to speak with. Detective Constable Phil Dickinson, of the Met's Public Order Crime Team, said: “The vast majority of football supporters are there to enjoy the game, with a small number spoiling the atmosphere for others. The Met’s unit that deals with disorder at football matches will prosecute those looking to engage in criminality before, during or after fixtures in London.”

Anyone able to identify anyone in the images is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, 100 per cent anonymously, with the reference number of the image which you wish to identify.
