Versatile Birmigham City man Jordan Graham earned himself a place in the WhoScored Championship team of the week for his impressive performance in Blues’ 1-0 win away at Preston North End.

Graham was at hand to assist Maxime Colin for the opening goal of the contest and the one that turned out to be the winner on the day.

It capped off an impressive all-round display from the 27-year-old who was deployed at left-wing-back for the contest - a position far from what he’d class as his natural one.

Graham was signed to play as a right-winger when he initially joined the club in 2021 and since that day, he’s spent the majority of his time playing one of the two wing-back roles - more recently moving over to the left.

Because of this, his ever-consistent performances probably deserve a bit more credit than they sometimes do but he was deservedly recognised for his efforts this past weekend.

He scored a rating of 7.93, which was also unsurprisingly the highest out of the entire Blues squad.

The full WhoScored team of the week is as follows:

Arijanet Muric (Burnley)

Max Aarons (Norwich City)

Kai Naismith (Bristol City)

Grant Hanley (Norwich City)

Josh Sargent (Norwich City)

Sander Berge (Sheffield United)

Tom Ince (Reading)

Jordan Graham (Birmingham City)

Lucas Joao (Reading)

Nakhi Wells (Bristol City)
