Birmingham City now know the 23 other teams they will play in the 2024/25 League One season.
Blues suffered relegation to English football's second tier on Saturday, May 4 and since then the divisions have taken shape. The play-offs have concluded in League One and League Two with just Leeds United and Southampton to come, however that game has no baring on Birmingham.
Oxford United won 2-0 against Bolton Wanderers and so it's another year in the league for the Trotters who will be one of the sides tipped to challenge Birmingham. Crawley Town overcame Carlisle United in the League Two play-off final by the same scoreline on the Sunday, and their objective will be to retain their place in the division.
There aren't many teams in the division who would claim to have a huge rivalry with Birmingham, but there are teams that will view them as a scalp. Two leagues now separate Birmingham and their inter-city rivals Aston Villa, whilst last year's derby match for them was against West Brom.
Being based in the Midlands, Birmingham supporters have the luxury of being middle of the country which means that there aren't too many games that feel like a long slog to travel to. The journey home after the game however by car, bus or train might make it feel longer though.
There are some exciting away matches to look forward to next season including Wrexham who boast one of the oldest international grounds in football. Some teams will be licking their lips at the prospect of welcoming such a huge club in Birmingham who will be sure to sell out most of their allocations.
Here according to the AA's mileage calculator (findings from 4.37 pm on Monday, May 20) is how long it would take you to get from each ground if you were driving from St Andrew's. Of course most travelling by car are based somewhere else, but coach travel tends to start at the stadium.
