A recruitment source told Football Insider that Blues are among a number of clubs chasing the former Leeds United and Barnsley forward.

Mallik Wilks

The striker featured heavily under the Tigers’ previous boss Grant McCann, but he has found minutes hard to come by under Arveladze, who joined the club while Wilks was out injured.

Wilkes has scored nine goals in 53 Championship appearances and 33 times in 90 League One games.
