Eustace satisfied with the start to the season
Eustace is satisfied with the start Birmingham have made to the new season. They have won three games out of a possible 10 so far and the boss has said, as per a report by Birmingham Live:
“I think to take 12 points from the first ten games is good, we are starting again at the club. There have been a lot of lows over the last two, three, four years but we are looking to rebuild. You look at all the positives out of the first ten games – the development of our academy players.”
The team hit by injury blow
Defender Marc Roberts is out for a ‘number of weeks’ which is a blow.

“Unfortunately Robbo is going to be out for a number of weeks, which is a massive blow for us. We are really light in that position now.”
Elsewhere on the injury front, Harlee Dean, Nico Gordon, George Friend, Przemyslaw Placheta and Gary Gardner remain out of action.
Coventry City was a ‘very difficult’ game
Eustace has admitted that Saturday’s clash against Coventry City was a tough match.
He told the official club YouTube:
“It was a very difficult game. I knew it would be a really tough game today, especially after Wednesday’s performance (against West Brom) and the effort the lads put in (there).

“The first-half we were a little bit too passive, we gave too many chances away, especially from outside the box but saying that we still had the best chance of the half through (Juninho) Bacuna, he should be putting that away.
“The performance second-half was much better, more much on the front foot. I was happy with the impact of the subs.”
Plan for the international break outlined
Eustace went on to explain what the plan is for the players during the international break:
“The players will be in for four days, they’ll be working hard. Obviously it is a fantastic achievement for the younger boys to go on international duty, there is three or four of them going.

He told the official club YouTube channel:
“Massive 90 minutes for me, i felt like i was getting fitter. Maybe not the best result. The first-half was not really great, but the second-half we were a different team.
“We were on it, we were more aggressive. I can’t wait for upcoming games, we have some time off now and we keep going.”
