Growing up in the city, Dan atteneded Turves Green Boys’ School and his friends said he was a big Blues fan who had a very close group of mates.

A statement on the fundraising page, which has been set up by Daniel’s friends, reads: “Dan tragically passed away from this world and has left a void in our hearts that will never be filled. He was absolutely beloved by his family, friends and all those he came into contact with.
