Birmingham City have confirmed the short-term loan departure of young right-back Josh Williams to League One side Cheltenham Town on Deadline Day.
The 20-year-old, who has made nine senior appearances for Blues, joins the Robins on a half-season agreement, subject to clearance from the FA and EFL.

Hide AdWilliams has never left Blues before since breaking through from the academy but makes his first move to earn game time in the English third tier.
Cheltenham, who faced Birmingham in pre-season and then in the Carabao Cup recently, are currently rock bottom of League One after four defeats in five matches.
They are managed by former Blues midfielder Wade Elliott, though, meaning there’s already a direct link there. It’s hoped Cheltenham can escape the relegation battle with Williams’ help.
