Birmingham City will receive a large sum of money if former Blues star Jude Bellingham is sold by Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
Reports on Wednesday afternoon suggest Real Madrid are set to land the England international, with Manchester City and Liverpool said to be out of the race.

This is due to a sell-on clause that was included in the deal that brought Bellingham to Germany.
According to The Athletic, Birmingham will receive ‘at least’ five percent of any sum Dortmund receive for the English international.
This means if he were to leave the club for £100 million, Blues would get at least £5 million of that. Likewise, if Dortmund were to stretch the figure to £150 million, £7.5 million or more would be heading to St Andrew’s.

It could be good news and superb timing for Birmingham as the ever-so-reliable transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Madrid have got a deal in motion.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Romano wrote: “Real Madrid are close to completing deal to sign Jude Bellingham, confirmed.
“Negotiations are progressing to the final stages. Personal terms almost agreed and new meeting has been scheduled to complete the agreement with Dortmund.”
