From three Premier League promotions to a top-half finish and two relegations, supporting Birmingham City in the early 2000s was a rollercoaster experience, to say the least.
There were plenty of highs and lows for fans of all ages as some time was spent with Blues comfortably riding the wave in England’s top tier, while other periods were battling to retain their status.
Six managers took to the helm throughout the decade, with Steve Bruce lasting the longest with nearly six full years in charge. Trevor Francis led Birmingham beyond the Milennium, while Alex McCleish saw out the final years of the 2000s.
