Birmingham City's transfer window was like an airport departure lounge with a combined 30 players arriving and departing over the course of the three months.

The summer transfer window opened on 14 June 2024 and closed on Friday 30 August 2024 at 11pm. This summer was one that could live long in the memory, as Chris Davies was unveiled as the new manager, and there were several high-profile signings.

It is clear to see that Knighthead Capital Management have big plans for the club, and their chosen coach was given the full backing in the transfer window. Jay Stansfield had such a brilliant campaign last season despite Blues' relegation, and there was always a hope he would return. Birmingham had to wait until the very end of the window for him to arrive, and despite Marco Silva's desire for him to stay at Craven Cottage, he was unveiled by Tom Wagner in a brilliant social media clip.
