EFL make decision that will impact Birmingham City, West Brom, Sunderland and Leeds United

Birmingham City and West Brom’s 2023/24 Championship regular season will now conclude at a different time.
The date will remain the same, though the kick off time has been brought forward. Games were due to kick off originally at 3.00 pm but now it will be at 12.30 pm. The move makes sense given that games that take place at that time can not be streamed because of the blackout rule, and they would have clashed with Premier League matches.

Birmingham City’s campaign concludes at home as well. They face Norwich City who are pushing to be involved in the play-off mix. David Wagner’s side are currently sixth and are three points ahead of Hull City.
For West Brom's sake they hope that their season will be extended to three further matches by confirming themselves as participants in the play-offs. Carlos Corberan's men are eight points ahead of Hull City who have a game in hand.
As for Birmingham, their season will end on May 4, but they hope that they will still be a second tier team when the 2024/25 season begins. Blues are currently outside of the relegation zone on goal difference following their latest defeat to Watford.
