Birmingham City's £42.3m squad market value as Fulham, Sunderland, QPR and Leeds United stars valued

TransferMarkt have made intriguing valuations of some Birmingham City players.

Birmingham City's whirlwind January is over with a managerial sacking, an appointment and several signings.

One of the saga's that went on during the month involved Jordan James. As Blues sacked Wayne Rooney, there was talk of a double whammy with Serie A side Atalanta making a move for the Wales international. James remained at the club and despite numerous offers being lodged, no team could meet his valuation of £10m, but it is something that is likely to be revisited in the summer if he continues in his upward trajectory.

Another story was Jay Stansfield with several of Birmingham's league rivals showing an interest in signing him. He joined on a season-long loan and Tony Mowbray was his fourth manager of the campaign but despite the upheaval, Fulham have decided that the best course of action is for him to see out his first season at this level with Birmingham.

Deadline Day saw the arrival of Alex Pritchard who forced a move away from Sunderland. He wasn't in the Black Cats squad for their match against Stoke City, and despite receiving a contract offer, he was able to get a move to Birmingham for an undisclosed fee.

Andre Dozzell was Mowbray's first signing, joining on loan from relegation rivals QPR. He's out of contract in the summer just like Cody Drameh who is on loan from Leeds United. Josh Andrews and Nico Gordon departed to Gillingham and North Texas for undisclosed fees whilst Zach Jeacock was released, whilst Oliver Basey was loaned out to Aberystwyth Town.

With the squad now settled until at least the end of the current campaign, we can now see how much the players are valued at by those without an affiliation. TransferMarkt have priced up every member of the first-team squad and given them individual valuations. Remember it's Birmingham who will decide the price for any player, but it's interesting how outsiders view their stars.
