Villa’s teenage starlet was a popular figure during his time with Swindon in League Two.
He made 21 appearances in all competitions scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
Kesler was also part of the Robins side that faced off against Manchester City in the FA Cup third round.

It was that performance in particular that was said to have impressed Gerrard enough that he instantly wanted to recall him to have a look at him in person.
Despite having a great relationship with Swindon Town and Kesler being open to a return there, it’s understandable that the scouser wants the 19-year-old to now show he can do it a step higher, with MK Dons.
