Unai Emery and Matt Bloomfield have named their lineups for Wycombe Wanderers vs Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.

Villa have arrived at Adams Park to take on League One side Wycombe in the third round, their entry point of this year’s competition following last season’s Premier League top four finish.

Emery admitted after the 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday that the Carabao Cup was the competition of least priority, and that’s certainly apparent with this evening’s team selection.

The Spanish head coach has made 10 changes from the team that faced Wolves, notably handing a senior competitive debut to talented young attacker Kadan Young. Jhon Duran has also earned a place in the XI following five goals in five Premier League substitute appearances.
