Where Aston Villa and Wolves rank among the Premier League’s most ‘fickle’ fans - according to the stats

There’s been plenty of ups and downs in the midlands this term.

It’s been a relatively successful season for the Premier League’s midlands-based clubs.

Both Aston Villa and Wolves have shown flashes of brilliance on occasion, and both will feel that they have really strong foundations to build on next term.

But how have both sets of fans reacted to their exploits?

New research from Bookmakers.tv has analysed over three million tweets from Premier League fans over the course of the season, and has determined each side’s most positive and negative weeks by counting up what percentage of their social media interactions were generally unfavourable.

The percentage differences have then been ranked to find out who the top flight’s most “fickle” fans are.
