Aston Villa’s penultimate game of their pre-season tour of Australia gets underway on Wednesday morning when they take on A-League side Brisbane Roar.

It will mark their second of three games down under, the first being the 1-0 victory over Leeds United last time out before they finish off with a clash against old foes Manchester United on Saturday.

With the new Premier League campaign fast approaching, these remaining few games will likely start forming a good blueprint of how we can expect Villa to line-up when they take on Bournemouth on August 6.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game.

When and where is the game?

The match takes place on Wednesday July 20th at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Queensland.

Kick-off is scheduled for 10:45 (BST).

Is Aston Villa vs Brisbane Roar on TV?

Whilst the game won’t be aired on TV in the UK, fans will be able to stream the match in full using a match pass from Aston Villa’s official VillaTV channel.

A one-off pass will cost £5.99 and coverage will begin from 10:25.

Ludwig Augustinsson will be looking to get his first Villa appearance following his move from Sevilla whilst Cameron Archer and Tim Iroegbunam will both be wanting to see some minutes after remaining on the bench against Leeds United.

Head-to-head record

Unsurprisingly, this will be the first time either of these two sides have suited up against one another and whilst it may be a meaningless pre-season friendly - it will be nice to notch up a 100% record in the fixture with a win.
