Meanwhile, Aston Villa have announced the double signing of two young superstars, following the departure of Douglas Luiz to Serie A giants Juventus in the summer transfer window.
West Ham resume interest in Wolves’ Max Kilman
Previously, a potential transfer that would’ve seen Max Kilman move to West Ham United looked to be dead in the water. Wolves were unwilling to budge on their £45 million valuation of the player and West Ham did not want to meet it - now, it seems that the Hammers are looking to launch another effort to bring the former England futsal player to the London Stadium.

Kilman is under contract at the Molineux Stadium until the summer of 2028. Wolves have no need to sell the player from a financial standpoint - due to this, it is highly unlikely that they will accept a bid lower than their valuation of the player, though they may be forced to do so if Kilman himself expresses a desire to make the jump to East London.
Aston Villa confirm double signing of Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea

Iling-Junior cost them £11.8 million plus £2.5 million in possible add-ons, while Barrenechea set them back for a fee of just £6.7 million plus £2.5 million in possible add-ons.
In an interview with the club, Iling-Junior said: “It’s exciting and I just want to kick on and show the fans what I can do. The stature of the club – they’re a big club with a lot of history and that’s something that definitely caught my eye.
“I went off to Italy and got my experience there. Now I’m coming back to the Premier League from a different development system and I can bring that into my game here.
