West Ham v Aston Villa early team and injury news as 1 out and 3 doubts for Premier League clash
Villa got the best of West Ham last season, taking four points off of them in their two matches. Douglas Luiz was twice on the score sheet along with Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey in a 4-1 win at Villa Park back in October. The most recent meeting was a 1-1 draw with Nicolo Zaniolo scoring 10 minutes before full-time to cancel out Michail Antonio's opener.

Hide AdTyrone Mings missed the majority of the 2023/24 campaign after he suffered a cruciate ligament tear against Newcastle United on the opening day of the season. He’s not featured during pre-season, and so he’s seemingly still unavailable.
"I'm super excited to get back playing, to see what the season holds," Mings said to VillaTV last week.
"I can't speak highly enough of the manager and his staff while I've been injured. They've been absolutely first class, so thankful for the support they've given me, the messages from the fans.

Hide AdEmi Buendia suffered a similar fate to Mings, and also had a serious knee injury. He was included in the match day squad against Columbus Crewe a fortnight ago, and could push for a place in the match day squad.
Goalkeeper Robin Olsen was withdrawn through injury against RB Leipzig at the start of the month and didn't play against Club America, Athletic Bilbao or Borussia Dortmund.
Out: Boubacar Kamara. Doubt: Robin Olsen and Tyrone Mings.
West Ham team news
The Hammers on Tuesday confirmed the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He has signed a seven-year contract after joining for an undisclosed fee, believed to be worth around £15m according to Sky Sports.

Hide AdDefensive midfielder Edson Alvarez is a slight doubt. He picked up an injury at the start of Mexico's Copa America campaign but he was forced off, and didn't play any further part in the tournament. The 26-year-old is believed to have suffered a groin injury but he headed to the United States to join them for a pre-season camp, and could be assessed ahead of kick-off.
Doubt: Edson Alvarez.
