Aston Villa supporters have arrived in Amsterdam ahead of Thursday night's Europa Conference League last 16 clash against Ajax at Johan Cruijff Arena.

The Villa Park faithful have been roaming the streets of the city centre for much of the day, with many congregating canal-side a stone's throw from Dam Square. A passionate, nervous and excited storm has been bubbling with claret and blue spilling out across the Dutch capital.

Chants regularly heard within B6 have gone international with "Holte Enders in the sky" in particular echoing around the walls and rippling through the canals of Amsterdam. By far the loudest, though, is "We're on our way to the Champions League," which has been sung as evidence of the belief Unai Emery has helped boost into the football club.

Attention will soon turn to the match itself, however, with a five-mile trip to the stadium. The Villans have the opportunity to establish early dominance in the two-legged knockout stage but it'll be tricky as Ajax have improved since their start-of-season slump. Villa will be thankful for their 2,000-strong 12th man.
