Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur team news: Starting lineups confirmed for European six-pointer

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have announced their starting lineups and substitutes ahead of this afternoon’s European crunch clash at Villa Park.

The two sides are separated by just three points going into this one but if Villa don’t win, it could well be the realistic end of their hopes of finishing in the top seven.

Unai Emery’s side have lost their last two outings by a goal to nil, away at Manchester United and against local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Spurs, meanwhile lost 4-3 to Liverpool on April 30 but bounced back with a narrow 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend.
