Unai Emery has verbally committed his future to Aston Villa amid links to the soon-to-be vacant Bayern Munich manager’s job.
With Thomas Tuchel confirmed to be leaving the Bavarian giants in the summer after failing to win the Bundesliga, speculation has been rife. Emery, who looks set to lead Villa to a sensational fourth-placed finish in the Premier League and a potential UEFA Europa Conference League honour, has been one of the names reportedly listed.

Julian Nagelsmann, Roberto De Zerbi and Zinedine Zidane have been mentioned, while Emery’s name has been a recent addition to the speculation.
But the Villa boss is disinterested in the rumours and instead wants to centre his attention on finishing the campaign strongly. “I am focused here [at Aston Villa], one hundred percent,” Emery said after his side beat AFC Bournemouth on Sunday, responding to a direct question about the Bayern role.
Although not directly ruling out a future switch to Munich, the head coach made it clear that discussing a move is not in his current interests.
