The latest Premier League transfer news as Jack Harrison puts pen to paper following interest from Everton and Aston Villa.

Everton have completed the signing of Jack Harrison from Leeds United on a season-long loan deal despite an attempted late hijack from Aston Villa.

The winger had already completed his Toffees medical on Sunday when the Villans tried to pry him away but then found out about an injury and pulled out.

Unai Emery wants to bring in a new attacking midfielder or two following the potentially season-ending injury sustained by Emiliano Buendía.

Harrison was a contender to be a replacement but he will have been sidelined for up to a couple of months, making it a risky signing.

Everton have gone ahead with it regardless, adding to their options on the flanks as they look to escape another Premier League relegation battle.

The 26-year-old scored 21 goals in the English top tier across the past three campaigns. He also contributed 16 league assists in that period.

Harrison heads to Goodison Park on a temporary basis and there is no buy option, meaning he will return to Leeds on June 30.
