Aston Villa winger Louie Barry has signed a contract extension with the Villans and immediately joined EFL League Two side Stockport County on a season-long loan.

It’s worth noting that his singular competitive outing in claret and blue was a triumphant one as he scored a dream debut goal in the FA Cup against Liverpool in 2021.
The 20-year-old played 22 times for Milton Keynes Dons in League One last term before moving to League Two outfit Salford City, where he made 19 appearances.
Neither spell was overly successful, but fast forward a few months and Barry has agreed to give the English fourth tier another crack.
Stockport finished fourth last season, narrowly missing out on promotion. The Hatters, with Barry’s help, will be eager to go one step further this time around.
