Lenglet’s acquisition, which will cost just 75 per cent of his Barça salary, could be vital for the Villans as extra depth in defence will be needed for the upcoming UEFA Europa Conference League campaign.

The draw for the UECL group stage will take place at 1.30pm on Deadline Day.
