Aston Villa have suffered another boardroom shakeup as Chief Scout Rob Mackenzie has left the club to join Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, according to a reputable report.
Following in the footsteps of former Director of Football Johan Lange, Mackenzie is set to link up with Ange Postecoglou’s side from next week, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Hide AdLange was announced on October 9 as Tottenham’s latest boardroom recruit and now, on November 1, the new Technical Director is making his mark on just his first day of official employment.
It’s claimed Mackenzie, who has worked at Spurs in the past and the man who lured Son Heung-min to the club in 2015, has already left his role at Villa due to an agreement being reached.
The Villans won’t worry, though, as Head Coach Unai Emery, President of Football Operations Monchi, and Director of Football Operations Damian Vidagany will all be staying to continue their fine work.
